Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band will perform on July 14 in Hyde Park. It is their first show announcement since the death of legendary saxophonist Clarence Clemons earlier this year.

Springsteen last played Hard Rock Calling in 2009, when he opened his three-hour set with a cover of London Calling by The Clash. He performed at Glastonbury that same year.

A spokesman said: “This is the second time they have played the Hyde Park show and 2012 minus Clarence is sure to be emotional.”
Clemons died in June, aged 69, after suffering a stroke. He and Springsteen worked together for nearly 40 years.
